One titanium post, one crown — a replacement that leaves the neighbouring teeth alone.

A single-tooth implant is a titanium post placed into the jaw where the root used to be. After the bone heals around it — usually a matter of months — a crown is fixed on top.
Its real advantage over a bridge is what it does not do: it does not touch the teeth either side. It also loads the bone the way a root does, so the ridge tends to keep its shape instead of slowly shrinking.
Treatment is measured in months because healing is, not because of waiting lists.
Smoking significantly raises the risk of an implant failing.
Implants need cleaning and check-ups like teeth; the gum around them can be lost.
Not everyone has the bone for one — grafting is sometimes needed first.
Results vary. Your treatment plan depends on an exam. Nothing on this page is a promise about how your own treatment will turn out.
What actually happens, in order.
Examination and a 3D scan showing bone volume and where the nerves and sinus are.
The implant is placed under local anaesthetic; sedation is available.
Months, while bone integrates with the implant surface.
An impression or scan, then the crown is fitted and the bite checked.
